SO2 Trainer Capability (14907)

1. Provide SME advice on Defence and Army Trainer Capability across Sldr Ac.
2. Conduct the Army Trainer Capability (ATC) Training Delivery Authority (TDA) function, including ATC & MRT Course Design.
3. Co-ordinate the ASLS ATC & MRT SOTT processes.
4. Organise, develop and act as Secretary for the Sldr Ac ATC Customer Executive Board (CEB) and the ATC CEB WG. Represent Soldier Academy at external DTC and ATC WGs as required.
5. Co-ordinate ATC CPD processes, events and material production.
6. Provide the TDA function for the development, delivery and assurance of Sldr Ac BT Pre-Employment Training (PET).
7. Provide DSAT/JSP 822 staff advice to Soldier Academy CoC, Staff Officers and subordinate units as required.
8. To cover other responsibilities as required. 

Effective communication at all levels required including wide consultation with Training Providers and the ability to brief up to 2* level.

Previous Trg Delivery and/or Trg System experience critical.

Masters in training/education, PGCE and QTS highly desirable.

Training/Education policy or delivery desirable.

Experience in an ARITC/BT unit highly desirable.

Appointment board held by APC.

The appointment has a broad remit across the education, development and training spectrum which demands subject matter expertise and experience in order to provide practical and sustainable solutions. Knowledge of DSAT a pre-requisite; previous experience with a CDC or TDT highly desirable.
