Vacancy detail

Domestic Considerations: Up to 40 RSDs per year with the possibility for more :Army Reserve Post, based in Strensall York and will have to cover Altcar, Merseyside.

1. Conduct Internal Validation of all ATU courses, produce Internal Validation reports and make any recommendations to the CoC
Responsibilities:
1.  Monitor the delivery of Basic Training and assessment of recruits against set criteria, and, in conjunction with the Training Officer, ensure that the Basic Training programme is in compliance with HQ ITG Basic Training Plan.
2.  Continual assessment of instructional staff, providing feedback in order to reinforce the coaching and mentoring ethos to existing and future staff. In addition, formal induction training, assessment and monitoring of visiting instructors.
3. To advise the CO on all matters relating to delivery of training and standards of instruction at ATU (N).
4.  In conjunction with the unit 2IC, OC's of Gallipoli, Sallerno Coy and the Training Officer, manage the unit Training Policy and Quality Manual to include continuous improvement, internal validation, quality improvement and 1st Party assurance.
5.  Analyse internal validation feedback and implement a training development plan; be a change management champion.
6.  Embed the ethos of V&S within the corporate and individual approach to training and promote the Army Leadership Code throughout the training environment.
7.  Identify opportunities for staff continuous personal development (CPD) training, research, design and deliver CPD training in conjunction with best practice developments in adult education and training. Promote self-reflection of training delivery and performance.
8.  Maintain a training capability matrix. Willing to attend CPD programmes and symposiums, thereafter disseminate current training strategies to unit staff. Provide awareness training to external units and stakeholders.

Must be computer literate and have good IT skills
ATM can be obtained whilst in post.

Attendance required on 1st Party auditor course.
