Vacancy detail

1. Advise the OC and chain of command on all G4 matters. 
2. Command Squadron Echelon in barracks, on exercise and during operations. 
3. Career manage Squadron Echelon personnel.
4. Carry out the duties of the Squadron Equipment Manager, liaising closely with the unit Quartermaster’s Department.
5. Formulate, enforce and periodically audit a robust Squadron Equipment Care (EC) regime in line with the Commanding Officer's EC Policy and the Unit Equipment Care Directive (UECD).
6. Facilitate and conduct inspections and checks as specified in the UECD.
7. Provide direction, guidance and assurance to Squadron logistic support.
8. Educate Squadron personnel in the importance of effective logistic support. 

We welcome applications from suitably qualified and experienced WO1/WO2s with a recommendation for commissioining. 


QM/RQMS Course (Regular or Reserve) - can be completed on taking post.

131 Cdo Sqn is the Army Reserve sub-unit of 24 Cdo RE. Applicants may be based at our locations in London, Bath or Birmingham.

We have roles for MEs Cbt, PO, DCT, Log Spec and Driver, plus Chefs, Clerks, junior officers and personnel with construction, utilities and infrastructure backgrounds. We offer a very broad range of challenges experiences and opportunities, and are one of the most travelled units in the Army Reserve.

Our RE personnel earn their Green Berets on the Reserve Forces Commando Course or join us after completing their regular service. Commando Training is optional for Chefs, Clerks and some of our supporting trades.
