As a National Reservist, be part of the HQ element of a specialist Hybrid Unit of 120 personnel that delivers Air Infrastructure for Defence and other Government Departments. Roles include all aspects of design; construction supervision; commissioning; inspections; etc.

As SO2 Infra Ops you will:

Provide G5 planning function for the Wks Gp Reserve elements;

Co-ordinate technical training for the Wks Gp Reserve elements;

Provide G1 administrative functions for the Wks Gp Reserve elements;

Conduct general staff duties in support of 20 Wks Gp RE, which may include assisting with the preparation and checking of, technical infrastructure reports.

The successful candidate will be expected to attend 44x RSDs per year. 

Opportunities for additional RSDs are likely.

BEng or MEng degree in either Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or similar discipline, or similar KSE gained from experience perhaps combined with HNC/HND, ideally with an 'Air Sp' focus.




CEng status.

Currently employed, or relevant experience in civilian industry.

Practical Project Management experience. Some experience and appreciation of commercial aspects of engineering.
