Responsibilities: 1. Command the Personnel Recovery Company in Edi and Lis Coy. 2. Execute all functions of command over assigned military and civil servant permanent staff and all PRD SP. 3. Ensure PRD SP are managed in accordance with AGAI 78, 99 & 110 and other relevant policy protocols ensuring accurate and timely reporting of WIS on WISMIS and VRMIS. 4. Liaise with and develop networks and coordinate support from relevant supporting agencies, local authorities and 3rd Sector in order to deliver optimal recovery outcomes. 5. Assess and report on Coy performance in accordance with mandated R2 and bespoke RFIs. 6. Promote the work of the PRU through AE in order to support the return to duty of as many SP as possible. 7. Coach and mentor PS professional training and development to enhance skills and delivery of recovery support promoting the self-care of all PRU PS. 8. Undertake monthly travel to Lis to conduct in person management and leadership meetings. 9. Support the delivery of Recovery Activity Programs delivered by the PRC and Edi Coy staff for PRD SP.

Manage and support assigned Personnel on Recovery Duties (PRD) Service Personnel (PRD SP) and provide support to the wider Field Army in the management of the PRD SP in order to deliver the optimum recovery outcome for the SP and maximise deployability in direct support of the Army’s ME.

Domestic Considerations:Predominently based in Redford Barracks, Edinburgh. Travel to be expected around the AOR, there will be some nights out of bed.
Travel to Lis Coy in Thiepval Barracks on a monthly basis to conduct F2F management and command responsibilities to staff in this location.
