Post Context.
Provide direct ES technical support to HQ ARRC and UK formations within ARRC Corps Troops.
Principal Duties.
a. Manage and provide oversight for all UK formations within ARRC Corps Troops ES 8800 contract taskings, LCH28 requests and NRRRC/Recovery requests.
b. Co-ordinate major ES refurbishments and modification programmes for equipment and co-ordinate repair priorities across ARRC Corps Troops’ UK formations iaw the Army Readiness Order.
c. Co-ordinate REME Bn activity iaw the training and commitments plan, including support to training.
d. Assist with TECHEVAL delivery and Equipment Care advice for UK formations within ARRC Corps Troops.
e. Investigate, evaluate, monitor, and resolve ES related technical and equipment issues.
f. Lead for engineering R2, downreps and co-ordination of the ES Dashboard.
g. Technical liaison between UK Fd Army, Eqpt Dte, DE&S, Div units and ES Ops Cell.
h. Provide trend analysis and feedback to RHQ REME on trade shortfalls and retention.
Additional Duties.
a. Support SO1 CSS with management and oversight of the UK military audits and inspections.
b. BPT support ARRC exercise play.
c. Execute other planning tasks as directed by SO1 CSS or ACOS Sp Ops.
d. Can be assigned different, or additional tasks, as directed by COSARRC, in consultation with the relevant SNR. |
