The Army Headquarters Staff Forum is a flexible resourcing pool of ex-Regular and Reservist service personnel. The Forum provides in-person, remote and part-time project work in support of capability and acquisition programmes.

This position is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of next generation Army equipment, with scope to attend field demonstrations, liaise with industry and gain FKSE accreditation.

Send your Army Reserves PPP, CV and last three OJARs to the AHQ Staff Forum mailbox to apply:
armyprogs-ahq-staff-forum@mod.gov.uk

Start and end dates are flexible. Appointment renewals at the end of the financial year are dependent on available funding and a continuing need for personnel support.

Please note, this is not an Army Reserves PID or FTRS position. The Staff Forum offers up to 180 RSDs (207 with paid leave) for project work via a RAPS ST event. Army Reserve candidates have the option to transition to an ADC contract. Acting Higher Rank, local rank and substitution pay is not available.

Army Reservists are encouraged to seek approval from their Chain of Command before applying. Reservists in established positions will continue their unit duties alongside project support to the Staff Forum.

Ex-Reg candidates must have Regular Reserve liability and be below 60 to apply. There are no exceptions.

A Frequently Asked Questions page is available on Defence Connect: https://jive.defencegateway.mod.uk/docs/DOC-905146

ARRG/VERR/ADC Project tasks are not WF authorised positions.   They are a temporary liability created specifically for a task and of a short duration; up to 12 months @ up to 90 RSDs, and therefore boarding and selection for these jobs does not attract substantive promotion or granting of AHR or SUPA.   A JPAN can be rank ranged to facilitate selection in a lower rank than advertised.    However, the intent is to fill the positions in the advertised rank and in only exceptional circumstances will a lower rank be selected to run to board.

For more information about how to apply for this opportunity, please visit the Army Reserve webpage.

This opportunity is closed to applications.
