POSITION ROLE: Development of workforce plans to ensure that the AMS Reserve workforce has the correct number and type of officers and soldiers in the right place and time to deliver Operational output.
RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Workforce Planning: the development of plans to sustainably develop the AMS Reserve to its workforce requirement by CEG, iot deliver operations. Includes AMS reserve input for setting the Resv AMPL.
2. AMS Reserve lead for workforce forecasting and ensuring resulting plans are coherent.
3. Liaise across AMS HQ, APC CM, Hd of Capability, Pers Strat WF Plans and ARITC for the optimum allocation of available workforcer to meet the needs of the AMS.
4. Briefings and representation at meetings/working groups up to an including 1* level.
5. Support and deputise for other AMS MB personnel as required.
6. Participate in AMS Reserve boards conducted in AMS HQ as required as Reserve Workforce SME.

IT Literate and competent in use of Excel and databases
ICSC(L)(LR) : Wider staff experience/experience of workforce planning in D Pers, HoCs, APC or as RCMO/Adjutant advantageous.

The post has a high degree of flexibility and independent working and requires an individual who is a firmly motivated self starter. Although based at AHQ Andover, Smarter Ways of Working (Hybrid model) will apply. Irregular visits to AMS HQ required
