Vacancy detail

Domestic Considerations: Up to 44 RSDs per year that includes Reserve training weekends and 15-day Annual Deployment Exercise usually in May/Jun of each year.
Position Role: Mil Clerk required to develop the leadership potential of selected students and Army Reserve potential officers, and to promote the  Army's ethos and career opportunities in order to secure commitment to the Army, first as officers, but also as future leaders in their chosen profession who will champion the Army in society.
Responsibilities:
1.  The Reserve Military Clerk working alongside the RAWO is instrumental to the efficiency of the unit and must be skilled in all aspects of administration including recruiting and finance.
2.  Support the Adjt and RAWO with all aspects of unit administration both manually and electronically.
3.  Operate IT Systems - MODNet/JPA/Churchill/RAPS/PPS/DRS and any other IT System not specified.
4.  Support the annual recruiting campaign, including all recruit administration from end-to-end in respect of the application process and create records on JPA. Then subsequent dispatch of enlistment documentation to APC Glasgow and retention of the AF B2026 and contents within the unit.
5.  Support the RAWO when preparing for G1A Inspections and produce monthly reports. Complete SOEASI checks and review of SMART data electronically and complete observations for action on COSMIC.
6.  Support training and other commitments.
7.  Undertake any other administrative tasks as directed.
IT Literacy (Word, Excel, MODNet, SharePoint, JPA, Churchill, RAPS, PPS)
SIPAC (R) - must be completed within 12 months of appointment.
