Requires sufficient mil experience and specialist knowledge to be able to represent pan-UKStratCom and where required sS, issues. Requires sound judgement and a high degree of initiative to tackle complex issues. Time and resource management skills. Working with and briefing senior officers and civil servants, within MOD and OGDs, on a regular basis; requires excellent written and verbal communications skills. Incumbent will be working in a Joint environment alongside tri-service and civil service colleagues with regular engagement with OGD. Experience and/or knowledge of MOD and PJHQ will benefit the incumbent of this post in understanding priorities, responsibilities and implications. Command experience desirable as the incumbent will deal with starred officers in Command positions and must have relevant experience to draw upon to provide both context and establish credibility. |
