Combat Medical Technician in support of Army Reserve Phase 1 Training; responsibilities include:
1. Provision of medical care and casualty management for ATR(G) permanent staff and recruits undergoing Phase 1 Basic Training.
2. Provide advanced first aid and use advanced resuscitation techniques inc the administration of non-controlled drugs ordered by a Med officer.
3. Carry out basic nursing procedures and prolonged care, whilst initiating and maintaining casualty and equipment/supply documentation.
4. Provide medical support on exercises inclusive of Med Evac.
5. Basic diagnostics, recognising abnormalities in casualty observations, body appearances and consciousness level, and reporting findings.
6. Deputise for the Platoon Sergeant if required.
7. Provide medical training to the ATR(G) Permanent Staff.
8. Establishing field medical facilities and maintain and supervise the maintenance of medical equipment.

ATR(G) is a Regional Army Reserve unit based in Grantham.
ATR(G) to not conduct routine 'Training Nights' and there is no assured event liability due to the nature of the role. Certificate of efficiency and associated bounty will be awarded on achievement of ALL mandatory training requirements and meeting the minimum commitment of 27 x RSD over the training year. Up to 44 x RSD will allocated to the Appt annually to enable the delivery Army Reserve CMS FS serials. Additional RSD available to maintain clinical competencies vital to role.
Evening and weekend work will be required.
