Vacancy detail
1. Act as the Defence Transport Manager (DTM) and advise the CO on all legislative MT matters. 2. Manage policy and procedures on all Regimental MT matters including JAMES, CLARITY and any other veh hire. 3. Act as the Regimental Defence Road Safety Advisor (DRSA) and the Unit Accident Procedure Manager (UAPM). 4. Act as the Secretary at EC, MT and Road Safety Meetings and a as a member of the Unit SHEF Committee. 5. Run and maintain the Unit agency cards. 6. Act as the Authorising Demanding Officer (ADO) ensuring veh fleet is managed cost effectively and as the Unit Licensing Officer (ULO) and Driving Permit Officer (DPO). 7. Conduct managerial checks on the Sqn MT Depts, including Stores/CES maintenance upkeep. 8. Maintain a technical library for all equipments held. 9. Co-ordinate all driver and specialist MT training. 10. Assist QM (T) with the management of the Unit Equipment Care Directive. 11. Manage the Unit vehicle fleet ensuring appropriate operation iaw mandated regulations/legislation. 12. Be responsible for the routine deployment, development and training of CO's Comm Spec. 13. Responsible for the annual production and implementation of the Unit Road Safety Program/Plan. 14. Any other tasks as directed by the QM. |
