Vacancy detail

Provide close support to PRD SP in their recovery pathway either to enable them to return to duty or to make a smooth transition to civilian life. Responsible to the Senior Case Manager for the accurate completion of PRU casework. Conduct Army Engagement and attend Unit Health Committee meetings as directed by OC PRU. Conduct Army Engagement and attend Unit Health Committee meetings as directed by OC PRU. Conduct Army Engagement and attend Unit Health Committee meetings as directed by OC PRU. Visit officers/soldiers (and their families) assigned to or supported by the PRU who may be sick at home and/or hospitalised. Produce visit reports, carry out actions identified and record appropriately in accordance with current policy. Deliver formal case briefings every 28 days. Assess the needs of PRD SP using HARDFACTS. Develop and monitor Individual Recovery Plans for PRD SP. Identify and report medical/welfare problems to the OC/Senior Case Manager and administrative/discipline problems to OC PRU & Adjutant. Manage Preston Company R2 requirements. Be prepared to deputise for OC PRU as directed. Act as duty officer on a regular basis and provide out of hours support to Service Personnel. 
Previous Recovery and Welfare experience. Driving licence. Emotional intelligence.

Due to the challenging and individualised nature of PRD, it is essential that the incumbent has the emotional intelligence and practical skills required to provide compassionate, yet robust, support to PRD within a conducive military environment, and be willing to deal with incidents out of hours.
