INT CORPS Reserve personnel Career Management and recruitment (Officer and Soldier) policy, practice and delivery

1. Primary fulltime Staff focus for INT CORPS Res personnel, recruitment and CM casework to include the convening of appointment and promotion boards.
 Ensure that INT CORPS Res personnel, recruitment and career management (CM) policy and practice (P&P - captured in INT CORPS PD5) remains current with prevailing Army and JS Reserves policy and has parity with Regular INT CORPS P&P.
2. Provide Reserves-focussed policy guidance to HQ INT CORPS, INT CORPS Res Units and their respective chains of command (CoC) requiring liaison internally and externally, and holding a close and mutually supporting relationship with APC and Army HQ/D Info. 
4.  Primary fulltime focus for routine interaction on INT CORPS Res personnel and recruitment P&P, with interlocutors ranging from sub-unit PSAOs to Bde, Div & Jt HQ Staffs, E1MB in DPers(A), APC, CD Info and DTrg(A).
5.   Support Corps Col Reserve, Comd Sp Br APC and SO1 Res HQ INT CORPS in the delivery of CM support including boarding processes as required in support of INT CORPS Reservist including Lt Cols, Majs, Capts graded ready for promotion at Beige List and WO1s; includes support to associated "national" promotion and assignment boards as required and may include selection and transfer activities.
6.   Support COS HQ INT CORPS and SO2 Offrs, Comd Sp Br (APC) in the annual Senior Soldier Entry (SSE) commission selection process and its subsequent administrative requirements.
7.  Deputise for SO1 Res and attend meetings on his/her behalf.
8.  Support the wider HQ INT CORPS as directed and have a close working relationship with HQ Int Corps.
If not already completed, must attend the RCMO/Assistant RCMO course or CM PET at APC at earliest availability.

Excellent communication and empathy skills as the incumbent is required to represent HQ INT CORPS and liaise widely outside the Corps. Must be able to produce logical, fluent and accurate written work and brief and present effectively.
A High-grade Officer with detailed knowledge of Reserves and the CM boarding process.  Be able to provide advice on Reservist personnel and selection P&P, able to act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a broad portfolio.
The incumbent must be able to sustain the ethos of the Corps, support work within the Headquarters and manage lines of development set by HQ INT CORPS, CD INFO, DPers(A) E1 MB and APC. The incumbent should be able to work autonomously, ensuring that the CoC is kept apprised of any issues. 
If not capbadged INT CORPS, should ideally have prior experience of the Corps and/or the Army Reserves.

Prior Staff experience in G1/MS highly desirable, preferably in the INT CORPS or J2 environment

Preferably OFMI or OPMI trained as a Regular or Reservist

This role is the principal Int Corps Reserve Career Management and Personnel Policy post at HQ Int Corps.  The incumbent needs to have a sound knowege of Reserve CM and APC Boarding processes.  Knowledge of Int Corps Res is highly desirable. 

The incumbent will be the lead fulltime Staff Officer supporting part-time Reservist Corps Col Res, SO1 Res and Senior Reservist Warrant Officer (SRWO). (S)He will therefore be the routine POC from interlocators across the board for Reservist personnel and recruitment P&P, associated casework and career management enquiries.  

Must be able to routinely work in Chicksands several days per week with WFH an option for the remainder.  Some limited travel across the UK on duty (including occasional nights away from home).

Must be at least SC on taking up the post, with DV process to be initiated once in post
