| Responsibilities: 1. Execute the duties of a Commissioned Officer and Garrison Engineer. 2. Provide supervision, oversight and input into technical reports as required. 3. Execute the duties of Team Training Officer specific to task, to include all military training and exercises for future deployments or ongoing readiness requirements as required. 4. Provide advice and direction, as required, on technical matters within their sphere of expertise. 5. Support the OC with managing the STRE and the delivery of all operational/non-opertional outputs as necessary. 6. Undertake Mentoring role for, and provide careers advice to, WO's, SNCO’s, soldiers as required. 8. Execute Facilities Manager/Project Officer/Works Contracts Officer duties as required. 9. Be prepared to deploy on operations or exercises, as ordered, either as part of a full STRE, as a singleton, or leading a small team, at readiness down to R1. 10. Provide technical advice to Senior Officers and Staff as required. 11. Be prepared to review and amend designs as necessary. 12. Be prepared to conduct/support CapDev activities. 13. Fulfil the obligations and role of line manager. This includes writing MS in line with current direction and guidance for subordinates, applicable to the rank of Captain. 14. Carry out any other legal duty as ordered by the Chain of Command. 15. Undertake and or organise continued professional development and training to promote and encourage competency training and experience within the unit. |
