ACRT Radio Managers are to: Assist in the development, delivery, generation and support the operational use of Commercial Radio Services and commercial radio systems to all Authorised Users on behalf of Defence. Provide the single point of contact for regional frequency management for tactical radio systems, in order to enable and enhance Defence’s interoperability when contributing to UK operations and its wider spectrum coherence.
Responsibilities include:
1. Radio Communications asset and availabilty management, responsible for defining, analysing, planning, measuring and improving all aspects of the availability of Commercial radio services within their RPOC.
2. Compliance Manager, responsible for ensuring that standards and guidelines are adhered to and that proper, consistent accounting practices are being employed. 
3. Regional Level 2 Support.
4. Regional Incident Manager.
5. The Provision of HF and VHF Frequency Management and assignment as required for UK Ops.
6. Development and Delivery of Commercial radio training packages across the region.
7. Required to deploy at notice in support of UK Ops in their own and other RPOCs as required.
8. Represent ACRT as directed by ACRT SO1.
9. Provide out of hours cover for Operational Requirements across the Mainland UK.                                                                                                                              10. Forge good working relationships with Military and Civilian Organisations (e.g. the Emergency Services and where necessary Local Government Organisations) representing SO1 ACRT at their meetings as directed.  
Must be serving as a member of the Reserve Forces or have served with the Regular Forces.                                                  Must be an OR7 of CIS specialisation.                                                                                                                                               OR6 applicants with a recommendation for the next higher rank in their most recent SJAR may be considered.
Must possess a current SC Level.                                                                                                                                                        Hold driver Category B or above.                                                                                                                                                      Good Communication Skills and be capable of briefing Senior and Junior personell whether Military or Civilian.                                                                                                                                             Good Leadership Skills.   
Proven CIS Background.                                                                                                                                                                            A good working knowledge of the Airwave Network and DMR Radio Systems.                                                                                Able to work unsupervised for prolonged periods of time.
All Arms Cryptographic Custiodian Course.  
Battle Space Spectrum Management Course.     
Experience of UK and Overseas Frequency Management Processes.
Military Instruction Skills and Techniques.
Commercial Radio Train the Trainer Courses (Airwave and DMR).
Experience using Airwave INSITE and AMIS network Management Software.
Sepura Radio Management Course.
Sepura Radio Trainer Course.                                                                                                                                                                         MJDI Sub-Unit Accountant Qualified.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Experience and understanding of working in a joint Military and Civilian Operational environment.
