Domestic Considerations: No accommodation and limited option for home working.
Position Role: Advise Res CoC on all G1-G9 issues.  Specifically - G1 MS, RE soldier career management, and soldier development.  G2 - responsible to the CoC for all aspects of sy in the Sqn (incl all ARMS2 input). G3 Responsible to the CoC for the mobilisation of reservist for Ops or other mob tasks.  Direct Sqn recruiting effort and undertake interviews when required.  G4 (incl H&S) - advise the CoC on H&S Issues and ensure all documentation and reports are submitted as required.  G6 - ITSO and management of all MODNET laptops/desktops within the Sqn.  G7 assist the QMSI where required in the delivery of the Sqn Trg Programme. Apply for all CCS cses at RMAS for Sqn OCdts.  G8 - Fund Mangaer for the Sqn acct.  In addition liaison with HRFCA for all works required in Cumbernauld and Kirkwall.  Act as the COs rep at Orkney Firm Base meetings.  Management of all civilian staff in the Sqn, incl MyHR administration.  Day to day management of all Regular soldiers in the Sqn. BPT to stand in for OC and Sqn 2IC, in addion to core PSAO role.

JPA Career Manager (Res), CNO, CVO, Fund Manager

Previous Res experience, knowledge of RE soldier career pathways, MS Rep, SIO or Information Officer, Def Estab Sy Offr, good knowledge of DRS, MS Office, MyHR, ARMS2 and SharePoint.  Churchill Raps & ODR complient.

The successful applicant will be expected to work evenings and weekends as required, although TOIL may be granted in compensation at the Commanding Officers discression.  The Sqn AOR may require overnight stays in Kirkwall, Kinloss and Leuchars.
