SNIY Command Troop Leader

Position Role: Command Troop Leader. Reserve Officer within the Regimental Headquarters, with a focus on the training and employment of Command Troop and the deployment of Regimental Headquarters into the field.

Duties: 

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the personnel and resources allocated to Command Troop.
2. Assist CO, 2IC and XO in the drafting of the RHQ Annual training plan.
3. Prepare admin and exercise instructions for all Regimental activities (incl. ADE, range weekends, ITR weekends), with support from the XO/TrgWO and to be implemented by them, in line with CO’s D&G and Training Directive.
4. Plan and draft of the OSW and scenarios for Regimental FTXs, CPX and ATP in line with CO’s D&G and Training Directive.
5. Perform the Command Troop Leader/Battle Capt roles on Regimental FTXs / ATP in the field.
6. Assist 2IC and XO in managing the cross-regimental training group.
7. Any additional tasks as directed by the CO and RHQ.
