Domestic Considerations:   This post may involve short deployments both within the UK and overseas to undertake Training DLoD activities.   Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the Training Integration Group.
2. Lead and cohere the outputs of the Training Integration Group.
3. Lead assurance (2nd Line of Defence Assurance - LoDA) of governance and management processes for programmes in the Land Portfolio.
4. Ensure programmes in the Land Portfolio develop optimised, effective, and integrated training solutions.
5. Provide training policy direction and guidance in the design and delivery of the Future Force (ACP deliverable 2.3).
6. Provide training policy direction and guidance in the design and delivery of Future Soldier (ACP deliverable 2.2) and modernisation programmes.
7. Provide training SME activity to support transformation of future training (ACP deliverable 2.3.5).
8. Liaise with key stakeholders and wider as required to ensure a smooth transition into service for all programmes in the Land Portfolio
Cap and Acq experience. Understanding Army trg and experience in a trg role.

Operational experience.
Experience of working at Grade 1 Staff level in a Formation HQ.

The selected candidate must have extensive training experience aligned with an understanding of the Army’s procurement process. Experience of working in the Army Headquarters and of the operating frameworks and networks necessary to align new capability with the existing training system is key to this role. The role requires liaison with key stakeholders and wider as required to ensure the smooth transition into service of all programmes and projects delivered to Army users, principally through the Land Portfolio. There is the daily management of ETS and Special to Arm specialists so experience of working on combined operations and in HQs is a distinct advantage, with experience of Army Reserve Training delivery also being beneficial.
