DIO Commercial FMPD PfMO Rqmts Mgr5 (21512)

Unit Role:  To conduct strategic analysis and reviews of future commercial contract requirements in DIO to develop the recommended delivery options.

Position Role:  Provision of military requirements expertise to the programme of Facilities Management (FM) contracts, sustainable engagement with FLCs, and evaluation of industry capability.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide Tri-Service FM subject matter expertise advice to the miitary requirements team and DIO Customers on project requirements.

2. Inform and support all stages of procurement: from pre-concept to in-service.

3. Maintain liaison with TLBs on functional requirements and ensure their coherency with current policy and strategy for FMPD

4. Conduct requirements capture and analysis activities.

5. Maintain a strong and effective stakeholder network to support current FMPD business output.

6. Maintain and manage relationships with all TLB customers and commands; ensure coherency with current policy and strategy for FMPD.

7. Provide technical support to the relevant project commercial team at all stages of project development.

8. Undertake Operational Readiness Reviews to support management of Contractor interfaces on Exit and Transition activities; this may include training delivery. 

Pre Appt/Deployment Trg: Fully conversant with the MOD procurement process and regulations, ability to use MS Office, Managing Defence Contracts and Contractor Support to Operations DLE online trg. 

Working in a predominately civil service team.  Personal development Trg such as iWFM and APM is supported.
