1. Assist the OC with the delivery, planning, co-ordination, monitor and validate all training in support of the MOD A syllabus in accordance with direction from SG.
2. Assist, develop, and inspire Mod A Staff, OCdts, PL Comds and JUOs.
3. Assist the OC to plan and execute the training programme, in accordance with the modular process and the CO's Annual Training Directive.
4. Brief and nurture individuals through the AOSB process and inform on Reserve/Regular career opportunities.
5. Instil a commissioning culture throughout the OTC, where OCdts should be aspiring to commission in the Regular or Reserves.
6. Support under-graduate recruiting during the Fresher's' Fairs period.
7. Other specific projects and tasks as directed by the CO.

Minimum 44 RSDs are available however more are available for Specific Tasks (ST).
The RMAS Modular Training is completed on Drill Nights which are held on a Wednesday evening alongside 7/8 Training Weekends which are completed within university term times. An Annual Training Exercise is held in June/July.
