Position Role. Drive and execute the Support Chain for operations and where necessary and by exception, prioritising activity set against supply capacity in accordance with Defence direction, identifying urgent activity to remedy shortfalls or generate choices where necessary. Provide a focal point for PJHQ, FLCs, Theatre support staff and Commercial Partners to deliver activity in support of operations and the Strategic Base Outload. 

Responsibilities: 
1. Provide a customer focused liaison service to the FLCs and all other stakeholders whilst deployed, to advise on
supply of materiel required to sustain operations.  
2. Lead DSCOM SO1 for all E2E SC Ops issues for Business As usual and Contingent Ops and during a Strategic
Base Outload.
3.  Support Hd DSCOM in the delivery of routine and bespoke Support Chain analysis for capability Management Gps
4. Actively manage and prioritise the Defence Support Chain to meet operational demands including the co-ordination of Forward Support Chain (FSC) and Rear Support Chain (RSC) activity.
5. Make informed decisions to remedy shortfalls, or generate choices where prioritisation is necessary, and a higher level of authorisation is required.
6. Lead SC SBO Shift (B) in processing the outload of control stocks, SSM and PEPs and manage to the coupling bridge for onward distribution. 
7. Support TLBs with planning cycles for exercise activity and be prepared to travel to UK and ROW

ICSC 
Logistics background - End to end understanding of the supply chain and Defence wide LogIS is required to enable Unit deployment, Task Issue and Controlled Stock utilisation.

IT Literacy - Competent in the use of Microsoft Office.

Material Account management (QM, unit, station, or ship) experience essential’. Appointment is tied military. Must be able to quickly absorb a plethora of supply and distribution detail within the context of a Joint/MN environment.

Logistics - Experience of operational logistics essential. Supply, Distribution and Movements focussed role.

Staff experience in a Joint logistic environment (PJHQ and/or Sp Ops advantageous).

FTRS Application through to boarding

Essential - Must be a proven high-capacity self-starter with operational experience, able to prioritise, and provide coherent direction to immediate staff and the wider FLC customer base. 

Able to allocate resources efficiently and optimise capability within constraints whilst developing successful interpersonal relationships.
