Vacancy detail

Domestic Considerations: FTRS(HC). Hybrid working (circa 50% of working time to be in Army Headquarters).
Position Role:  Develop plans to ensure that the AGC has a sustainably resourced workforce to deliver operational outputs, and support development and delivery of the wider AGC workforce plan.
Responsibilities:
1.  Workforce Planning: Develop plans to sustainably resource the AGC to workforce requirement (Reg and Res) by CEG.
2.  Assist SO1 AGC(SPS) Workforce Plans with the Army Workforce Planning Process (AWPP), steady-state modelling and sustainability checks ensuring coherent plans result.
3.  Negotiate, synchronise workforce planning activity between AGC HQs, APC CMs, and across SWP to meet priorities.
4.  Negotiate the setting of inflow targets, promotion and conversion quotas, commissions, E2 allocation and Resilience Margin.    
5.  Identify and report workforce pinch points (delivery and sustainability), formulating appropriate mitigation measures and monitoring progress for the AGC.
6.  Input to reports or plans and other tasks as directed by SO1 AGC(SPS) Workforce Plans.
7.  Deliver briefings and provide representation at meetings/working groups up to and including to 1* level.
8.  Support and deputise for SO1 AGC(SPS) Workforce Plans as required.
Must have sound IT skills, especially Excel.
