Staff Officer responsible for coordinating comprehensive Casualty Notification processes and the Casualty Notification Officers (CNO) and Casualty Visiting Officers (CVO) delivery across the DA RPoC AORResponsibilities:
1.  RPoC responsibility for the coordination and management of Casualty Notification procedures and co-ordination of Casualty Notification Officers (CNO) and Visiting Officers (CVO) and delivery of the Casualty Notification process and procedures in the AOR (Scotland).
2.  Management of CNO training register of casualty qualified personnel and tasking data base for deployed Visiting Officers cases and subsequent first line support to deployed individuals and the staffing of amendments to key source documents for all CASCOMP matters.
3.  Liaison with all Services and civilian agencies involved in processing CASCOMP and the contracting and payment of Funeral Director Services and liaison with Procurator Fiscals Office, involving Fatal Accident and Inquest related matters.
4.  Delivery of mandated training courses for CNO and conduct debrief sessions to deployed CNO and CVO, monitoring of all CASCOMP/NOTICAS signal traffic and dissemination if required, liaise with the RC Comd Casualty Cell and be the close support to Joint Compassionate Casualty Cell. 
5. Lead engagement with the Bereavement and Aftercare Cell and maintenance, support and close interaction with CVOs of our bereaved NOK and families.
6. Manage and take lead as RPoC QM G4 Stores Officer with responsibility for G4 Logistic matters for the Royal Guard including whilst they are at Victoria Barracks Ballater. 
7. Have a strong understanding of the Infrastructure LIIF (Local Infrastructure Improvement Fund) procedures, Infrastructure Estate policy, DEOP, ABP and FDIS Estate Contract. Act as the Contract Supervising Officer in the delivery of Hard and Soft FM Contract.
8. BPT SUPPORT and DELIVER additional projects as assigned by the CofC.
AA QM qual essential

Must be Quartermaster, Radiation Officer trained, particularly suitable for LE Cbt/CS/CSS

Must be Casualty Notification Officer and Casualty Visiting Officer qualified with capability to deliver and teach CNO course to JPA competencies level. Have a good understanding of Service Inquiries process. Conduct a minimum of 2 days UK Ops Trg and support the JMC during UK Resilience Ops and to undertake the Defence Contribution to Resilience L2 training.

Experience in HR management highly desirable.

Up to 21 nights separated service per year may be required of this post.  Evening and weekend work will be expected.

Flexible/hybrid working may be available subject to the Commander's agreement, however, living locally is recommended.

Must be forward thinking and innovative: able to work with minimum direction and follow projects from inception to completion with minimum guidance.

Scottish Educational system must be understood if children of school age are relocating.
