Vacancy detail

1. Allocation of training resources including booking of Ranges (RAU) and Dry Training Areas.
 2. Management of risk assessments and fire prevention to ensure safe system of training is in place.
 3. Accounting for all Water Sports resources held within the Training Wing.
 4. Management of ammunition/pyro including storage at ASD.
 5. Assistance with the assurance ITR elements and delivery of mandated courses.
 6. Delivery of lessons as directed by the Trg Officer/Trg WO including Judgemental Training and Ranges.
 7. Deputise for the Trg WO when required.
 8. RYA Managing Agent for NIWSC Craft.
9. Maintain and account for all NIWSC equipment including craft.

This unique position has a wide remit in order to support training delivery across the NI garrison. The role includes management of small arms ranges and the NI Water Sports Centre. Individual selected must be able to adapt and innovate, and work with minimal supervision to support garrison training activities. They need to lead with firmness and fairness and show clear understanding of the professional environment.  Display good oral communication, ability to inform and convince.  They need to be able to plan, organise and designate priorities effectively. SNCO CLM and CQMS.
