Unit Function    

To deliver Information Activities training, advice and capacity building to meet the UK's current and future Defence and security interests.


Position Role    

To coordinate overall activity for the Joint Information Activities Group. 

Responsibilities


  1. Provide J1 support and timely advice to the CO, including routine administrative tasks as directed.  Responsible for the issue and implementation of all orders and decisions made by the CO.  

  2. Lead Staff Officer for J1 and J3 issues. Plan and cohere Unit STTT FGen.

  3. Lead Staff Officer responsible for management of unit appraisals, recruitment and reviewing Job Specifications.  

  4. Unit D&I lead; responsible for Unit discipline and cohering Joint service policy.

  5. JIAG lead on RAF Halton parenting, SHEF and business continuity plans.

  6. Plan and manage all external visitors to JIAG. 

  7. Support Joint force Training events and deliver training as directed by the CO.

Must be an OF3 to OR9 of any specialisation.

Must be serving as a member of the Reserve Forces or have served with the Regular Forces.

Full Driving License
