An Additional Duties Commitment (ADC) vacancy has arisen within the Squadron Recruiting/RRMT cell required to:
- ATTRACT, NURTURE and MENTOR suitable candidates/recruits from expression of interest through to completion of phase 2 training in accordance with Recruiting Group Outreach Instructions.
- Conduct outreach and engagement activity in support of the Squadron and Regimental Recruiting Teams. Nurture and mentor candidates through all stages of the recruiting pipeline in order to give them the best chance of success at Assessment Centre and reduce wastage. Ensure successful candidates are attested ASAP and are introduced to/integrated within the squadron and given the opportunity to attend Basic Training at the earliest possible point.
- Assist the RRMT with the nurturing/mentoring/training of phase 1 and phase 2 soldiers to ensure training is completed in a timely manner. Any other tasking applicable to the post role as directed by chain of command ROSO/ReMSO. To support the OC Sqn and CoC to ensure that Sqn goals are achieved.
Additional Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist candidates with their application and process them through the recruiting pipeline, to include but not limited to – eligibility and suitability checks, initial career discussions, nurturing activity in preparation for Assessment Centre and the completion of enlistment documentation.
- Assist with the Mentoring/Nurturing of phase 1 and 2 SUT’s to ensure timely progression through the recruiting and training pipelines.
- Data entry on the Defence Recruitment System (DRS) to ensure the candidate journey is conducted in a professional and timely manner and to provide an auditable trail for assurance scrutiny.
- In the absence of the ReMSO, maintain Regimental reports and returns to enable suitable and relevant data capture and trend analysis.
All activity must be conducted with the care and well-being of candidates and recruits in mind and will be subject to internal and external assurance inspections.
Concurrent activity – must qualify for Certificate of Efficiency (CofE) in primary Reservist rank and role to remain eligible for continued employment in post.
Defence Train the Trainer Course (DTTT).
Reserve Recruiters Course.
Defence Recruiting System (DRS) qualified.
