OC 217 (WY) Sqn RLC

Army Reserve post. Up to 180 RSDs per year. There is an expectation that the preferred candidate will be able to commit to a minimum of 77 days (27 days plus 50) to faciliatate the delivery of Sqn outputs as per the Regimental Training Directive.
Position Role:  Officer Commanding 217 (West Yorkshire) Squadron RLC. 217 Sqn is a General Transport Sqn within 150 Regiment RLC.
Responsibilities:
1.     Contribute to the delivery of Regimental operational capability by ensuring the effective command, control and management of 217 Sqn. 
2.     Recruit and retain sufficient manpower to meet CRF’s workforce target of 91% of establishment. 
3.     Develop and execute an approved recruiting plan. 
4.     Manage training attendance so that all Sqn personnel (less LTNA) pass all ITR packages, attend Annual Camp and qualify for Bounty in year. 
5.     Ensure the timely submission of all personnel appraisal reports and documentation. 
6.     Develop and maintain a sub-unit succession plan. 
7.     Achieve a Green/Satisfactory grading on all mandatory inspections. 
8.     Comply with the various RHQ Management Plan directives and SI.
