1. DELIVER. Deliver full range of paramedic duties to a Level 5 Pre-Hospital Emergency Care standard to the entitled Population At Risk iaw JRCALC and the BFC Ambulance Services' Operational Instructions. 2. TREAT. Assess, treat, manage or refer, and where appropriate, convey patients according to the nature and severity of their condition to alternative care pathways. As appropriate, provide packages of care to patients at home. 3. LEAD. Carry out JNCO Paramedic duies commensurate with national clinical practice guidelines, BFC Ambulance Service specific PGDs and guidelines and training requirements. 4. SUPPORT. Support plans development and undertake duties in relation to Major Incidents (including exercises) and BFC Contingency Plans which may require call out when off-duty in accordance with the BFC Major Incident Procedures. 5. SUPPORT. Participate in the development of an integrated approach to the delivery of emergency and urgent care in BFC including: a. Support to and participation in CPD training for DPHC personnel. b. Support to the Ambulance Service Delivery Team. c. Support to the BFC Ambulance Service Clinical Governance Committee & Availability Working Group. 6. SET STANDARDS. As JNCO, work with the BFC Ambulance Service Delivery Team to implement effective governance systems to ensure effective risk management, (including child and vulnerable adult safeguarding) significant event reporting, clinical audit, and quality of care improvement. 7. TRAIN AND DEVELOP. Support the training and development of the wider established healthcare team, including supporting those undertaking training or experience in Pre-Hospital Emergency Care. 8. SUPPORT. Contribute to PHC output of the Medical Centre within capacity inc supporting delivery of Medical Administration, Aeromed, Medical Stores and Medical Boards. 9. DELIVER. Maintain professional registration, competencies and clinical portfolio iaw sS policies iot personally deliver high quality patient care. |
