Task requirements

Artificer Sergeant Major, responsible for:

Responsibilities:

Responsible to the Coy OC and Veh PL 2 C of C.
Assist in the delivery of technical support and ES planning to the HQ.

Focal point for technical training and management of ES capability; advising the OC in all aspects of Technical and Trade Training.

Advise the OC on UEM, EC and EMS matters; conduct quarterly EC, EMS, TECHEVAL audits on behalf of the OC.

Carry out the function of Sub Unit Engineering Management Systems Manager (EMSM).

Assist in the production of unit action plans (TECHEVAL, H&S, EC, EMS) as required, conducting TECHEVAL Assessments on behalf of the OC.

Management of safe working practices and SHEF; carry out the function of Deputy Unit SHEF adviser on behalf of the OC.

Essential competencies

A sound-knowledge of ES capability, knowledge of EC, EMS and SHEF, To be credible in his advice to the OC and CoC.
