FTRS - Home Commitment

Vacancy detail

Manage the peacetime home-based logistic support (Log Sp) at unit level, including equipment, transport, storage and estate infrastructure. 
2.  Principal Log Sp advisor to CO and CoC for OOB and In-Bks training. Provision of timely G7 Log Sp.
3.  Provision and C2 of critical estates management on behalf of RFCAs Highland and Lowland, including accom, sy, infra - both hard and soft FM across 6 sites geographically spread across Wales.
4.  Conduct duties as the principal Unit Safety Advisor as delegated by the CO to include the C2 of USEA, Safety Environmental, Radiation, Force Protection, Food safety, ARC and Risk Management.
5.  Conduct duties as Unit EC manager.  
6.  Conduct duties as DTO.
7.  Assist with Sp Sqn recruitment and subsequent development and training of the Log Sp CEGs.
8.  Manage the Internal/External audit regime iaw Army HQ policies.
Thorough understanding of ES principles. Must have attended ECM Cse prior selection/appointment.
Must have attended Unit Safety Advisors Cse or at minimum hold BSC Cert qual prior to selection/appointmen,                AAQM Cse, USA UECM, RSO, SRM - Log Sp and ES experience essential.
EMF - Electro-Magnetic Fields
Understands internal and external workings and structures of own organisation and its wider interactions
Working knowledge of MyHR, D&I, Civilian and military MS and management experience.
Produces logical, fluent and accurate written work. Ability to brief and present confidently and effectively
Displays tact and co-operation and exercises self-discipline and control.Desirable to live within 50 miles from duty location.

Knowledge of AMS Reserves is desirable  to the incumbent plus a good working knowledge of the NHS across Wales                    IT experience essential: to include: DII, JAMES LAND, HRMS. JPA, MJDI and MOSS. Desirable to have understanding and experience of civilian HR career management and to be fully conversant with DBS policies.
