Vacancy detail

1. Act as the Battalion adviser on all policies and procedures in relation to COMSEC i.e. Electronic/Cyber Warfare procedures including ECM, EPM.
2. The maintenance and repair of all comms equipment as well as the accounting of all comms equipment within 5 RRF. This includes any equipment on loan or held by Sub-Units.
3. Ensuring all Report and Returns (R2) in relation to G6 are compiled and submitted within allocated timelines.
4. The periodic management checks of all Battalion communications equipment to guarantee serviceability and operational effectiveness.
5. To ensure all communications electronic instructions (CEIs) and/or BOWMAN Plans are compiled, detailed and distributed accordingly throughout the Battalion prior to any training event.
6. Attend all training activities and supervise radio discipline to ensure security and high level of accurate voice procedure.
7. Assist the OC and/or PSAO to guarantee success on all training evenings and weekends (including ranges).
G6 Background and Qualified
MJDI experience
Current driving licence
Skill at Arms Instructor/RMQ.
Instructor in an additional MATT i.e. First Aid.

Appointment Board in Jun 23.

As a battalion Warrant Officer, the successful candidate will be required to conduct other WO type additional tasking within the Sub-Unit.
Role may attract additional RSDs.
