Vacancy detail
1. To manage or assist with the presentation and production of meals in all messes in static or field facilities.
2. Hygiene & Food Safety- Comply with Food Hygiene Regulations and record all temperature records.
3. Operate a Field Kitchen – manage/assist with all aspects of catering from staffing, equipment, rationing and production of all meals.
4. Safety, Health Environmental and Fire (SHEF) - Comply with all SHEF Regulations.
5. Fulfils the role, duties and tasks required of a trained soldier according to the unit requirements.
6. When duty chef or senior chef responsible for all aspects of catering from staffing, equipment, rationing and production of all meals in static or field facilities.
7. Complete yearly update training on Food Hygiene, field catering, SHEF and MATT’s
8. Be prepared to assist in any other duties as directed by the QM/RCWO/Unit Catering SNCOs

Must be able to engage and work within a small team of highly qualified, competent personnel, in a fast moving fluid organisation. Will be expected to work with little or no supervision and at pace.
SC in-date. DV security clearance may be required.
