The PSI appointment is a key support function within 254 Sig Sqn. The PSI leads on the G4 development, programming, administration and accounting for all Sqn activities and G7 delivery. As part of a six person (4 Mil and 2 CS Pers) SHQ administration team, the PSI is responsible to OC 254 for all outputs with day-to-day prioritisation and tasking in consultation with the PSAO. 

Responsibilities: 

1.  For the Reserve Attendance and Pay Service (RAPS), act as a “Mustering Person” and a “Training Deliverer”, producing and proving RAPs events and Specified Tasks (STs). Checking the accuracy of data and ensure the pay data is processed to “awaiting export” for processing by the HR Admin Team. 
2. Maintenance of training records within the CHURCHILL and Operational Deployment Record (ODR), ensuring accuracy of all data entries.
3. Manage and account for unit stores and advise the CoC on all Sqn and Regt’l G4 and G7 matters. Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the fields of G4 logistics and provides expert advice and guidance to all key stakeholders within the CoC. 
4. Develops, plans and leads the execution of all G4 Logistic support to the Sub-Unit.
5. G4 lead for all Sub-Unit, training, recruitment & selection and technical concentration activity.
6. Responsible for planning, leading and enabling MATTs training across 254 Signal Squadron.
7. Sub-Unit SHEF manager.
8. Sub-Unit MT Rep, managing and authorising FMT 600’s IAW Regt’l direction and all relevant JSPs and DINs.
9. MODNET Authorised Demander (AD).
10. Provide support and assistance to the PSAO, ROSO, REMSO and CS HR Admin Team as required and as directed. 
11. Maintains an expert knowledge of current regulations and policy, within all relevant areas, with the ability to clearly articulate this in both written and verbal form
12. Any lawful command and duty as directed by the Commanding Officer 13 Sig Regt, and IAW RLFR 16.
