Vacancy detail

1. Lead the delivery and administration of Unit training.
2. Deliver and oversee training in classroom and in the field, providing advice and support to sub unit staff.
3. Validate and assure training delivery.
4. Schedule and resource all Unit training.
5. Manage and mentor PSIs in their support and delivery of sub-unit training activities.
6. Provide any required assurance on Unit/ Sub-Unit collective training.
7. Deputise for the CO on all matters when and where required.
8. UATO with responsibility to oversee all unit AT activities.
Graduate
SA 90 (A), experience delivering LFTT.
Combat Arm (Cbt Spt will be considered)
ICSC (LR) or (L) - Should complete with-in 12 months of appointment.
Recent Operational Experience.
Previous experience in trg establishment, especially with in RMAS GP.

Unit Role:  The mission of the OTC is to develop the leadership potential of selected university students and potential officers for the Army Reserve, raising awareness of the Army's ethos and building interest in its career opportunities; in order to secure their commitment, whether as officers or as future leaders in their chosen profession, to champion the Army in society.
Domestic Considerations: Unit output is focused on academic calendar, with 1-2 working weekends each month. Weds drill nights. FTRS LC contract. Requirement to live within commuting distance of Birmingham. No entitlement to housing or travel.
